5 out of 5 stars A surprisingly good CD   November 19, 2001
6 out of 7 found this review helpful

I had heard less than favorable reviews for this CD, but upon hearing it myself, I was very surprised. I had previously heard the song "Girlfriend" and I love that one since it's sung almost entirely in english (english you can understand since her asian accent is not so strong)
I've also heard some of the other song's "Break the Rules", "Looking for You", "Please Smile Again", "Himawari", "Think of Me", "Never End", and also "No More Tears".
This CD has a good combination of ballads and more upbeat songs. Her ballads (Think of Me, Never End, and Looking for You) aren't cheesy at all they are actually really nice songs and her voice doesn't get annoying.
However, "Himawari" is partly a ballad but with a slightly more faster beat so it can also work as a regular type song.
Her faster songs (Please Smile Again, No More Tears, and Break the Rules) are also very enjoyable. Once again, none are cheesy.
So in conclusion, I truly recommend that you get this CD, It's worth the money.
